Is it me, or did the Mom have the slowest reaction time in history? I don’t know if it’s my Army training to just act before thinking or my Mom instincts. But I wouldn’t have waited for a stranger. I would have dove after my child.

We don't know where the trains were. They say, the station operator halted all trains, which means they could have been nearby! The fact that out of everyone there, he decided to jump down on the track where there is major live power, makes him a hero. I can't say the say for his Mother :/

As we can see that mother hates her son...

The mother is very stupid from my view what kind of mother will wait that min to get that child out in the first place that a public place what was she thinking till that child fell of that place goosssh

The mother seems like a disaster waiting to happen

Why didn't she go get him! Can't believe she just stood there and looked!

I'm Italian and I have to see this brave act of humanity from abroad... Anyway, thanks for sharing

What a star glad he and the little toddler are both ok

As a mom she didn't move fast enough

The caregiver reaction looked suspect to me. She reacted way too slow but found time to remove her bag. Investigate for possible abuse at home.

the mother should go to jail as so many others !

It only takes one Hero good job one was around ..bless.....

But if the train wasn't nearby... why is considered an heroic act?

Hvorfor hoppet ikke moren ned ? Det ville da vært det naturlige ! Ser seg om etter hjelp .....?

How can a mother leave the child running free in a train station? Really and she took forever to realize he had falling

Stranger jump for toddler, not a parent

Another hero.

Be a better parent and teach these kids

Hero 💕

Mom should be charged with neglect

They are heros....God Bless them!

Amazing wonderful story

You are not alone wanting change... At the core of every human being is an inner desire for Peace. More and more people are now looking for answers to world peace and change.... But peace starts with ourselves. Once we learn to love ourselves, we're able to feel love and compassion for others. As we begin to feel peace within ourselves and find our inner state through modalities such as meditation, yoga, or Qigong.... We become Compassion and Kindness. We are not alone in our desire for peace, so never feel overwhelmed that you can't make a difference. There are billions of us across the globe shining our light, like millions of stars shining in the night sky. By uniting these billions of individual little stars via the wonders of the internet and social media, we can connect and align our collective energy into one powerful unification of positive thought. Re-connection with each other is the key to Peace. So keep your light shining brightly in that sky peoples. Connect with all the other, individual little stars out there and Believe that you can bring about positive change! 😀 m.facebook.com/Be-the-Change-you-Want-to-See-355045424973020/

Great people, the government should be helping homeless people rebuild, this lovely guy shames the government tbh. Well done to him and all the other volunteers giving their time and love to help others that need understanding and love. Made my day to see this!!

This man is not afraid of the love inside him. We all have it, but are actually afraid of it. Don't be afraid to give. You can never lose The intangible returns will come. Perhaps it is something that doesn't have to happen, now. We may never know, but do it anyway, and let love rule.

Good-hearted people have always been rare in this world and even have become scarcer in capitalist societies, but this man really is a gift and I'm glad there are still people caring for others <3

You are an ANGEL WITHOUT WINGS!XO

Many thank you for the food you have shared and many more will thank you. You are a wonderful person. Bless you

Sharing the love food energy and kindness big time what a beautiful life 🙏☺️💗👣

Comment on Facebook

What did the Jellyfish say to the Peanut Butter Fish? You come up with some bread to support us and we'll stick together.

Jelly fish are taking over the world oceans. Not sure their immortality is something to celebrate.

Not sure I would want to live forever....

Well I bet they don't feel pain when returning to a sexual immature stage and I doubt they are AWARE of their eternal life...I.e... no memories of previous existences to DO THEIR HEADS IN! (Or do they even have heads!) lol

But can it play Cricket ?Nooooo...... I don't think so. Can it eat a Ham sandwich ? Nooooo..... I don't think so.

Pretty amazing. Never knew a creature such as this existed.

How tragic! I would not want to live forever. Just the thought of it is exhausting and sad.

I would love to live forever because this world has been here forever and there is so so much to discover and learn and be a part of. Maybe this Earth hasn't been here forever or this universe but it's been here for longer than I know. And like I said there's just so much to discover it would be such an adventure. I hope the scientists figure out how to make me live forever.

It's very interesting, but I would prefer to say "Scientists believe this jellyfish is immortal" or "We haven't discovered a way to know the age of the jellyfish" please, don't make your beliefs a reality. By the past, how many times we were wrong about our beliefs? I would say 99% of the time. So be careful! Great video though 😉

Voici la similitude avec nous les humains nous sommes aussi immortels nous nous transformons à partir de notre naissance et ce processus est éternel notre âme est immortel rien ne meurt en nous mais se transforme seulement. 💗💗💗

I think I'll start a jelly fish farm and sell the everlasting cells🤔🤔🤔🃏

We do too, just in different forms. Nothing dies, it just changes it energetic form.

immortal until it becomes a snack for all the much bigger fish that might like a little jelly snack.

I get it. extra terrestrials deveoloped and harvested these animals, humanity has been a disastrous bi-product

Jellyfish thinks: Death Where is Thy Sting.

Living forever means to me, a new way of life without pain and heart ache. It's a promise I depend on from my Creator and God. There's no harm in believing in this promise. What's the alternative?

If I had to live forever Iwould choose the life of this jelly fish. Who came up with this idea? Mindblasting!

Incredible research. Imagine if humans could regenerate sick cells like that

Amazing indeed but now there are too many jellyfishes along the mediterranean sea, they get stinging and it was not the case 20 or 30 years ago 😡

Hey I would quite like that 😄....free travel round the world, being young and able 🤗 😲...and they’re pretty 😉 ❓‼️❓‼️🤣

Elixir's been found. I bet just as we've used certain features from nature such as cobwebs for armor, that this jellyfish's peacefull jelly-away days are over and into the laboratory it'll go! ..

Oh the wonders of mother nature

We don't know and we don't understand nothing from mother earth! ... (that's why we destroy her!!!)... 🙁

The elusive gift also found in humans but seems to stop for some reason unknown to science. The lost gift of eternal life.

Oh, they are in real danger now as Man will probably try to extract the eternal elixir from them!! 🙂

I disagree in case of Psychopaths, Narcissists, and Sociopaths.

No one on this planet can cause another's suffering, suffering is a choice the mind chooses... When tragedy strikes it is Extremely painful no doubt and it can last for a very long time.. suffering is a choice as is wallowing...

You are telling the victim to take care of the attacker. That's not how it works. Not all who are hurting choose to hurt others.

This annoys the hell outta me... sweeping quote that doesn’t apply to anyone suffering at the hands of anyone else.... be it partner family or even a friend

yeah well, he's gonna have to get help somewhere else cause i'm drained

This is a bit of do gooder sweeping statement nonsense.

This affirmation is correct... But it is also ok for you to keep away from these people. Your choice only. It's all about YOUR happyness. No one will make it happend but you. So if your people make you suffer constatly, feel free to set boundaries or leave them.

I knew the comments section wouldn't let me down. I had to read this twice cuz I couldn't fathom trying to help one more person in my life who didn't appreciate me. Just like "he/or she" deserves better so do you, can't let people continue to abuse of your kindness

and sometimes this other person just needs a smack

Implying someone should not be punished is not quite the right message because it puts the focus on the person causing the pain instead of the victim where it should be. Also punishment and help are not mutually exclusive. I do believe that people should be helped where possible so they don't re-offend, but on some level you have to recognize that some people will refuse that help or simply cannot be "fixed". There's no "one size fits all" solution to this. Suffering is a state of being that we often don't choose to enter but whether you choose to stay in that state and for how long may be up to you. My two cents...

I would agree but it’s not necessarily within one persons scope to give the right help. Sometimes letting go brings about change and other sources of help.

I like this one better. Everyone has a choice to be something better than their circumstances. Read this: m.huffpost.com/us/entry/1107628

that includes our loved ones who have gone astray ... stop judging people by their mistakes. it's how we grow ...

Then it's time to let that person go and make himself miserable. You don't owe anyone anything especially if they make u suffer. It's not normal. THATS NOT FUCKING OKAY!

Or he needs to figure it out on his own and stop using people and being a victim and it’s everyone else’s fault there’s that

You can’t help someone, that doesn’t want to help them selves. If they don’t want to change their circumstances, they will keep walking in cycles until they learn that lesson.

Yes, but some should get in jail

But what about when you’ve tried & tried? To your own detriment? Shouldn’t he at least reach out of his comfort zone a bit?

I strongly disagree. This is the most stupidest thing i ve ever read. So false!!

This is totally true, and all those who don’t believe it... they are deeply suffering too. They ALL need help. ❤️❤️❤️

I suffer and so should all other people = narcissist. Nothing more, nothing less. Babysitting adults who behave like children is not what I'm here for.

Let's hope he or she dies quickly so we can go back having a lovely life 😘

Think about a person which is surpressed by society. Which suffers since childhood under bullying. When this person hates society, is this person a narcisst?

He needs help but you also likely need help and support in preparing and escaping!

I'm sorry but I don't agree with this. You can help someone who doesn't want it! And if you stay, it will pull you under!

Great advice from Anthony Hopkins :D

Don’t eat the animals they weren’t placed here for you to eat!

Except he didn’t say that. It was Nanea Hoffman who also added: Drop all of the meaningless drama. Let go of all of the purposeless busyness. Release the self-created stress and overwhelm that gets in the way of your living your best life.

Really?!? Then why you request hotel staff not to male eye contact eith you and if they do you freak out? 🤔

Eat the fava beans! Drink the Chianti!

I've seen this quote attributed to several different celebrities today alone.. good words and all but damn they all didn't say it

Doesn't matter who wrote it. Only matters who understands and believes. Jesus of Nazareth...never actually wrote down any of his own words. Only those who knew him...and believed in him and his words..actually did. (Get it? Got it? Good!)

And BE in the Present moment as much as you can 🙏😍

So true. Also I was the DON at Harbor View house in 1993 when you stopped by to say to all at the Beacon Alcohol and drug recovery house to say hello. You have still amazed me with your acting and celebration of life!!!!!! Great role model Sir Anthony😊

Can play romantic, velain, heartless...I love this actor...Don't care if he said it or not..He's a damb good actor...

I'm pretty sure Richard Gere said these same exact words in a post I read the other day ...

Anthony Hopkins didn't say it. He reposted it (See the quotation marks?). Nanea Hoffman said it.

who cares who said it, it is fact either way

An amazing man .. brilliant actor ..and obviously fucking very smart .. no ones getting out alive .. love it !! kinda puts all the bullshit into perspective!!! Bahahahahhaha .

Sonja Mi now you know why I am the way I am 😂

What is Human resources to strangle with any individual statement. Are you so much scared about free beliefs that proletariat needs philosophy and Catharsis needs being locked up!? Resign to what it is NOT instead arguing about one single monkey needs it to be. Understanding is as it exposes: Under Standing, a quite poor Perspective, poor Stand Point to deliberate, even more to Over Stand. Namaste

Fatima Qayyum this could have been me if i stopped overthinking 😂

I thought it was keanu reeves who said that....

Thank you Mr. Hopkins. (And for all of your wonderful movies.)

They are words form in a quote many generations have used. Words to live by.

Anthony Hopkins always knew you as a great actor, now I see you as a man with such smart words.

Hopkins and eating habit 🙂 Love it

Well, he's the sixth celebrity that I've seen this quote credited to. I wonder who really wrote it?

I’m reading this in his voice...

It's like Morgan Freeman, he quotes everything eh! Lol

He associates with hunters!

Talk nonsense. Human beings have free wills. They chose to become terrorists.

A great sage once told me ... Luke, judgment and condemnation destroy more life than the sum of all atomic bombs. I was very touched by this video and by what this man says, he has observed a lot and understood inside, in his own emotions to be able to say these words today. We all contain in our hearts, in our souls and in our minds the roots of all the violence committed in this world, all without exception. We have lived everything, we have all been king, queen, beggar, slave, executioner, murderer, sage, life after life, etc. Life is like a great teahouse and we have a specific role in this life that allows us to grow, to evolve. If we do not forgive, even what seems most unforgivable, then we will not move forward, stagnate and repeat the same sufferings life after life, day after day, war after war. We will only imprison what is finally to be welcomed with love and compassion. Do you say this? When you refuse forgiveness to a human being, you refuse forgiveness and you are in reality deprived of love. We have as humanity all tried, hanging, crucifixion, decapitation, life imprisonment, exclusion, pillory, caning and so on, and nothing good came out of it, it does not matter. has never improved the world. So what are we waiting for to try Love, Compassionate Love and sincere forgiveness? Is it John Lennon who said? Let's give love a chance .💝🌹

We don't overcome darkness with more darkness, but with LIGHT. We don't have to love terrorists, but we have to CARE for one another so that no one will become a terrorist.

I am not afraid of terrorists. I am afraid of polygamists. They'll breed us out of existence.

That's the problem most people don't grasp the concept of understanding one another. We are all humans with differences but if we get rid of the one sided thinking and make the attempt to understand each other. I honestly believe we can make a better world for everyone. #maketheworldgreatagain

Sorry that tree needs chopped down and used for firewood

What he says is Truth, most people do not have the Consciousness to recognize or know Truth. Fear is the barrier.

❤ educate people in buddhism. Practice tonglen (a meditation) and you will notice that the world arround you changes. With love from Sweden ❤

I totally agree and understand. Sadly most people don't " get it" . I just try to be the change I wish to see and hope that there will be more and more people who will see what we see and understand what we understand. TY for the video.

Slam the gates shut. Living within a community is not a human right, it is a privilege. If we ignore this ancient code of human survival the strongest and most violent will ensure their needs are met before all other people. Understand that and this planet and people may just survive all the fake humanitarians. wearing a false mask.

What happens when a "terrorist"act is carried out? ... Everyone pulls together to help one another ... (funny that ) We should love these people because they actually teach us what not to be and the same goes for all the other types of criminal out there ... They're prime examples of how not to live your life ... Some people are a necessary evil, serving as a reminder to the rest of us to be better human beings.

He is right, and until everyone agrees, we will continue to suffer. ❤️

Wow the best description of love and direction to follow

We had our neighbour the English come upon our shores and proclaim we were the terrorist's?

Bless you. Love to all 💚

Love this...Prince Ea ...well spoken my friend LOVE

should always love the human even if we hate the evils acts of humans.

You are pushing tolerance, not love.

courageous. thank you.

I Totally Agree...The Problem is 1. AR15 Should Not be allowed for purchase. 2. The Government DOES NOT CARE. They are in bed with the N R A.

O.K. I'm watching the News tonight on Our local channel. I see crowds of Parents & Students pleading for Lawmakers to do something about what is happening in Our Schools. It is Terrible, but I ask You this; Why are we waiting for the Government to pass new Laws restricting guns when You, the Parents should be monitoring Your Children? Look in Their rooms & Personal Social Pages, TALK with Them to see how Their Life is going! Don't wait for the Government to Govern! Govern Your Homes, Children and get involved with Your Children's school! Don't just send Them; Go to the Schools, see Your Children's Friends in & out of the School setting. Don't wait for "The Government to step in. If you want changes made, do it on a Personal level!

Havent been 18 school shootings this year. Really wish they would quit saying that.

Republican senators receiving money from the NRA are dangerous. They send prayers and thoughts while loading the guns that will kill your children. VOTE THEM OUT!

18, school shootings this year, ???what are details in these 18,...were these incidents of same nature, ( armed person going into schools n killing???) I hadn't heard of the18???

Apart from changing the law and making guns unavailable the practical problem is how? I cant imagine (paranoid) American gun owners willingly handing over weapons.

There have not been 18 school shootings this year.

The guns are not the problem! Society is the problem, y'all need to wake tf up.

Why dont the teacher's carry firearms? With traning the kids could be safely protected.

It’s more about mental health than anything else. That should come first.

Trying to change politicians policies will not happen unless there is an uprising of millions of people

I don't really think it would help to film these kids and show it to the politicians because they are too enamoured with the large donations they are receiving from the NRA -- money talks much louder than integrity or morality.

Does it really matter how many shootings there were? Wake up America, Your children are dying. Give up the guns.

Yup a good old fashion violent uprising, that's what the state's needs......

False Flags really can manipulate the masses

Parts of those children's commentary are missing. JS

Just need parents to lock there guns up make kids respect ur wishes on not touching them our house is full of registered gun and these kids know not to touch them with out adult supervision...

No, let's keep the focus on gun control until that problem is solved. Americans are easily distracted.

but will they listen? or is the sound of all that NRA money pouring down on them drowning out the screams of our children

I'm very glad to live in Canada where we have gun control. And no NRA making donations to politicians!

sounds like he shouldn't have been able to buy a gun at all. another government failure.

They problem is that others solutions are ignored or demonized. Preventative measures and security at schools. More help for troubled kids. Video game violence that may desensitize some kids to violence. Kindness instead of bullying.

Where was the FB.I. they were notified . Why did they not check him out ? F. B.I. Put some pressure on them

The truth of the matter is, you can plead all you want for gun control, your still not getting it.

Another crisis actor LOL people wake up

Comment on Facebook

Yes, words can wound deeply in a way that never goes away. How many time have you wished you had not said somethin?

I forget words a lot to be fair but I never forget how the words made me feel

So true my son has been bullied most of the year. The words hurt him.. we did the necessary complaining went no were. He finally had enough. The difference between my son and bully he felt bad and said l will never do that again.

NAIL IN THE FENCE Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence. (Most importantly the last sentence) There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. " A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us." It's National Friendship Week. Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND, even if it means sending it back to the person who sent it to you. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends. YOU ARE MY FRIEND AND I AM HONORED! Now send this to every friend you have!! And to your family. ! Please forgive me if I have ever left a hole

The bully is leaving him alone but the words have not

Talk to me nicely and i'll do thesame...dnt expect me to show goodness (always) even when u r rude to me,im human, not God

Basalt? Predicted text making its own words now. Honestly it's just like Alexa haha x

There are three things that comes not back ,a spoken word, a bow and arrow and a neglectful opportunities.

You can say that again. Some people just refuse to acknowledge the fact probably due to self-centeredness.

Guilty. Idk why i told that woman i love her. Now she done went cray cray. . 😂😂😂

That is so true!

I always think straight talking is basalt in the long run. Fake words can only make a fake world. I m in your world Sue.x

Was looking at this and thinking " wow, that's very posh for a Balinese School!" . Then I realised it was an International school!!! Although Billions are spent in Bali by tourists every year a huge precentage of Balinese live in poverty with no running water , schools or electricity, working for a pittance and shoved off their land so hotels can be built. I found the difference between the luxary hotels and level of poverty shocking!!

I hope they didnt cut those trees just to renovate the place.

Che bellissima iniziativa! E come dicono loro, speriamo che si replichi (cosa che in effetti in forme simili sta già avvenendo) in tutto il mondo!!

The Indonesian government are responsible for whole scale destruction of the Borneo rain forests and decimation of the west Anonymous Free West Papua Australia tribes so this school is a good start

Lily how about teaching here!?

I hope this will inspire more such schools around the whole world!

A great way to teach kids- they will carry this all their lives

This is just incredible.. Hope n wish to have many more such great institution for children's..

Mark Brownlow is this where your Max went - Looks amazing!

Joshua Nelson This is actually the school I want Niyah to go to. 😆😆😆😆

Great initiative. But usage of laptop/keyboard is not ergonomic, and too bad for the kids at this age..

Wau! 😍 I really love it! I want that the number of such great and green schools would increase in the whole world! <3 🌲🌳🍀

Can I go as a volunteer? I would love to go there and learn too!😊

Need more of these concepts on other schools.

Dan Jupiter probably cheaper than steiner ? 😉

All schools need to do this!

My great grands deserve this opportunity!!

Wish we had this in india Jessica Dev

Pity the kids arrived by car not by bike!!

Maria Romero - maybe we need to start one of these over here <3

Esther Jayakumar this school has elements of where you once worked!

Aissa Cherif I know why you love this country so much 💗 I can't wait travel it more x

gives me hope for the world.

I would love to be involved!

Kaela May mmmmm your next big trip k!!!

Why should all of the customers trying to do their shopping and the employees trying to do their jobs have to listen to your kids screaming? You had a bad situation going before you ever got to the register and was given balloons. Take responsibility for your lack of preparedness. Go to the store after eating and nap time etc. hand the 4 year old a tablet or smart phone if you have that difficult of a time controlling him. No it’s not everyone else in public’s punishment to have to listen to everyone else’s screaming kids. I have 3 very respectful, empathetic, polite children. Lol they didn’t get that way by me allowing them to abuse everyone else around them. You need to take responsibility here. Plan ahead next time when you know you have NO food in the house and are making a huge haul with two toddlers. I never had a sitter or family to leave my kids with. You plan ahead. Once this nasty situation finally got to the point of the balloon popping yes it’s sweet that your son was upset for his sister. But he also has to learn a little control. You could have let a cashier know you’re leaving your cart for a minute to handle the situation. Take the kids to the restroom or the car and love on your son, calm him down etc. You put your kids thru unnecessary stress as well as everyone else in the store. Which is your fault not the customer who is paying full price for her groceries and deserves to be undisturbed and have a pleasant shopping experience. My kids totally knew as toddlers that the last thing they wanted to do was test me in public!! Each tried once and never again! You’re teaching your children it’s okay for them to torture you and act a fool in public which will let them know they can get away with that as they get older and grown. That’s not okay. As a parent it’s YOUR responsibility to teach and prepare them for proper conduct in public. Sorry but there were a lot of things you could have done differently here without even resorting to a spanking.

I think the point is, these behaviors started BEFORE the balloon incident. She is so wrong. Children need to learn the appropriate form of showing emotion. Children are NOT allowed to meltdown in public. They need to be taught how to behave. I raised both of my children without any major public outbursts. It starts at home. Kids will behave how they know they are expected to. Also, as a mom, if your child is hungry or cranky, you should know better than to try and force them through a shopping trip. I am so tired of this entitled mommy crap.

I love the argument that I was spanked and I turned out fine. Hmmm main issues of society today, depression that we take pills for that don’t work so we consume alcohol to chase the pills that don’t work. But hey getting your ass beat as a child for reasons your little mind never understood, yeah nothing wrong with that! Newsflash! Just because you were spanked as a child does not make it ok and may be one of the reasons society has to drink and take pills on a regular basis! I call spanking lazy parenting. It’s much easier to spank a child than to get to the bottom of what the real issue is with a little person who really has no idea how to express themselves yet. I take care of elderly that act out in this way. It’s not ok to spank them. Think about it. I expect to get back lash for the lazy parent comment but all that tells me is I hit a nerve with you and maybe it’s time you look deeper than your phone as to why I hit a nerve with you.

Exactly how I feel. My daughter threw unbelievable tantrums at 3. But I took her and her brother out of the store to calm down and asked a clerk to hold onto my cart while I did that. When peaceful we went back in and continued. No crying no hitting no shaming. Violence begets violence. By the way, they are 28 and 31 now and I have only ever heard how wonderful and poised my kids are.

Let me just say here that I was spanked as a child (spanked, not beat. There's a difference) and I had it coming most of the time because I was being a brat and my momma didn't play that. As a result, I grew up to be a well adjusted contributing, productive member of society that understands the world doesn't revolve around me and my emotions and feelings are no more important than anyone else's. I know this because instead of coddling me my parents actually did their job and PARENTED! Too many parents these days are just too damn lazy to discipline their kids or too afraid of hurting little Johnny and Susie's feelings. As a result we've raised a generation of disrespectful little assholes that believe if the life doesn't go their way they can just whine and throw tantrums. You might remember a good many of them were marching in the streets last year after the election pitching a mass tantrum because their candidate didn't win. To all their parents I say, way to go. Thank you so much raising an entire generation of self-important entitled little whiny brats and unleashing them on the rest of us.

That's the problem with our youth today...I spanked my boys and now I have 2 well adjusted 20 ish young men who respect the police, woman and they know how to handle disappointment with out totally melting down and needing a safe space....they also know daily what bathroom to use....gee all because I parented. Go figure.

Quite right and well argued. Violence on kids teaches kids violence is right and look where thats got us in the world. Spanking is lazy parenting.

Good grief, wishy washy woman 🤣 My daughter knew how to 'handle her emotions' as a toddler whilst out in public. She never went berserk. Sure she cried sometimes, but she was also respectful of the people (the 'public') around her. I can't be doing with too much touchy feely good goody parenting. Rules, structure, teach right from wrong and appropriate times and places to be a berk and your kid will turn out decent. And another pennies worth... the old style of parenting that this woman in the next line probably carried out, has raised far more respectful citizens that a lot of the youngsters around today. Far less crime, far less trouble, more manners. Anywho thats another story 😉

Lmao if you spank them they will behave better I was spanked as a child I graduated high school and I am a normal person when my kids act up they get spanked its on their ass one is in diapers so its coushined even but they will know not to act up like that again you don't have to beat them a small spank on the ass works its embarrassing. To the child and. They learn quick not to misbehave

I had many spankings growing up - and got the belt when I spoke back to my father - I didn't resent either of them and I grew up to be a respectful, hardworking woman - now I have 2 boys of my own and I spanked both of them when they needed it which wasn't often - why? Because they didn't like it so they behaved! End of story!

When my kids were that age and started acting that way I would remove them from the situation—just park the cart and head out to the car. Or out of the restaurant, into a restroom...They knew I would drive them straight home if they didn’t straighten out, so their tantrum was not going to get them what they needed. No yelling or spanking. Just follow-through.

Imagine if “Nosy Nelly in Aisle Six” had come over, given this mum a smile of understanding and “been there” and helped her...parenting is thankless...and lonely sometimes. The “old ways” weren’t always the best ways

Ummm...pretty sure the above comments are judging just like the rude woman in the isle next to this mom in the video. Were you always preventative as a mom of your young children? No, you weren’t. You never had a day when you and your kids were stressed at the same time? Yes, you did. You never tried to appease your children at a store to keep them calm like she did, Yes, you did. Stop judging the world for something you went through and learned already-she’s learning and so are her kids. Back off-just like this mom said. How helpful is your after the fact judging to this mom now? It’s not. Hang in there mom!!! The mothers that are telling you what you should’ve done are not in your tribe. Find your tribe of supportive mamas-we’re out here!

Reading a few of these comments makes me understand more why the worlds becoming a wishy washy planet of humans who are offended at anything and everything 🤣 Parenting is a joy, sometimes, yes. And sometimes it's crap and soul destroying and tiring. I genuinely feel that all these namby pamby earth mother tactics raise spoilt children. No statistic will tell me there is less crime now than there used to be. That manners have not declined. That gangs, beatings, attacks, shootings, stabbings have not increased. No one is suggesting beating your child. In fact did the woman in the store actually say that to her? Teach your child respect. Be a parent, not a walk over friend

Should have fed the kids...never take starving kids to the store.. or bought them something to eat 1st before shopping.A mother know her kids better than anyone take them outside talk them, calm them down n back to shopping..This is not 60s,70s or 80s ppl.have no..not an ounce of patience for anyone, anything or anywhere..JS😊

Just look at the children; aka teens & adults now with the brain child "no spanking" ideals that were put in place. Watch the news, look at the suicides and drug epidemic. How's it working for our society now? (As opposed to prior to this brilliant idea being implemented) Just saying!

I have 3 well behaved, kind, loving, giving, and respectful teenagers. I spanked them and managed to control their emotional outbursts within seconds when they were little. Spanking works and it does not stop them from being compassionate loving adults. I feel for this lady when her 4 yr old is still having melt downs at 10 yrs old. Not spanking a 2 yr old I agree with, but the 4 yr old is capable of controlling their melt downs. I learned to process and control my emotions by age 3 and so did my children. People under estimate the mind of a child and give in way too easy.

This may be how you want to parent but when out in public unless you have no other solution just take them home. If desperate I would have bought the necessities and left and went back when it was a better time and possibly better prepared. You're focusing on someone saying give them a smack, instead of possibly what you could have done better. Children need discipline that doesn't mean smack them, that means teach them what is right and wrong. Sorry but everything you say in here about what your kids behaved like sounds like you could have prepared or reacted better, being 33 you should know that.

Why wasn't the son able to be upset that his sister was upset for losing a balloon. My 5 year old daughter started crying at school because her 6 month old brother needed shots and she wasn't there to protect him. So because she's crying in public, I should spank her for her feeling sad for her brother?! I'm not going to spank her for her having feelings and being upset that her brother will be in pain. Half you people on here would rather just spank a child then just talk to them at first and see what's going on. People need to mind their own business as well!

Passionate lady, I hope she is also pro life. Chilren do have a tendency to emulate their parents. Children don't deserve abuse. There are times when a spanking is a safe way of helping a child understand, "if they do this, it will hurt". What do words mean to a child, who knows nothing of being burned? Don't play with matches, you might get burned, spoken over and over...finally a spanking, a bit of pain that my save their precious life. A deterrent created out of love.

Parenting issue here. She should have prepared herself for the grocery store trip, especially with her kids being so young. Mom, next time try to get a sitter for the kids if you have to take a trip anywhere in public. If you don't have a sitter then maybe take advantage of them being in preschool or somewhere. Kids are going to cry and have melt downs everywhere and there will be rude people all around. Just don't pay attention to rude people, but really mom. Next time prepare yourself because it sounds like you were frustrated before the woman made that comment. Always feed your kids something before going into a grocery store (even if its fries from McDonalds). They say never do grocery shopping when you are hungry. and always set your expectations with your kids before walking into anywhere in public. 🙂

Mom, first of all at 2 & 4 yrs old you can speak to your children on how to behave in public....and if they forget to behave then instead of spanking , you should give them a time out punishment and explain to them why they are been punished.. find a parenting book and read it ..on how to deal with this type of behaviors ...kids are not in charged you are...so stop making excuses for your kids behavior...or one day you'll regret it ...20 minutes of punishment is better than 20 yrs in jail ...take this from a mother who raise 3 kids by herself and they're all productive and decent citizens....

Slapping of children leads to resentment and fear of the people doing the slapping and can be traumatic for the child in their adult years, and for children to think that it is the norm to slap others which is wrong, a few slaps never did me any harm but that's what psychology reckons happens in the long term. But there are lots of other methods to teach children lessons that don't involve slapping or physical punishment and they have been proven to work.

Her complaint was about your children annoying her. I agree with your sentiment regarding your children’s emotions but couldn’t you have bought them a little snack before shopping, lovingly sharing that time and encouraging at least the 4-year old to help with shopping after the snack? Poor planning on your part made for an unpleasant experience for everyone else including you and your children. It’s not a parenting issue so much as an issue about how we agree to participate with society.

I was spanked as a child. I didn't deserve those spankings I earned everyone of them. My siblings and I were really rough on my mom and nana. Especially my brother and I. I was spanked and have heard I'll give you something to cry about a few times. I am a 39 year old man and I exhibit empathy and sensitivity sometimes to my own detriment. I cry at sad or inspiring parts of movies/books/videos. At my wedding I barely could hold it together saying my vows because how I feel about my wife. My empathy, sensitivity, and my ability to express my feelings are the qualities that attracted my wife to me. Being disciplined didn't teach me to lose those things or make me violent it just taught me to be disciplined. It taught me that I am not the only one in the world and I need to care for others as much as myself.
