Something I was told as a teen has proven to be sage advice over my life- "you are never going to figure it all out"..... in a yogic sense there is nothing to figure out anyway 🙃⠀

But... the mind wants to; try to; on a daily basis. It's enough to drive you fucking crazy if you don't learn how to slow it all down and do what you can with what you've got- as @marieforleo says "Progress not perfection."⠀

This pic was taken when I could just hold handstand for like a second or two.... I was stoked the photographer captured this. Now I can hold the posture for 10 seconds + (still single leg lift 😝) (And to think I call myself a yogi!!!).⠀

What I am getting to is that you just have to keep showing up. PERIOD. For yourself, for your dreams, for the light and joy and love that wants to radiate out of you and light the way for others. People recognise that shit. It doesn't matter what you look like or whether or not you can handstand/get barrelled/have it all figured out and looking pretty right now. What matters is that you are here. And you #myfriend are more than enough :)⠀
